Whipped creme anyone?

Personally I've never tried any kind of 'cream' foundation, so I was intrigued. I was especially so since it promised a flawless finish with a radiant glow. I do like a good soft foundation that doesn't feel too hard on the skin so this definitely appealed to me. I think Max Factor tend to come out with good foundations for my skin tone so I was doubly excited.

I grabbed the lightest shade on offer, 40 Light Ivory, and it matches my skin perfectly, unfortunately the six shades on offer aren't going to be everybody's cup of tea so I would definitely recommend swatching before buying!

The consistency of this foundation is lovely, it's application is smooth and soft and very easy to apply to the face, probably best to use a sponge applicator though. This is definitely more of a medium coverage foundation rather than full/flawless, in my opinion. Although it can be built up using layers. As usual with foundations there isn't really a fragrance, but I am sure it smells like some sort of scented play-doh (don't ask).

Some may be dissuaded by the small 18ml pot, but do not be deceived. A little bit goes a long way with this foundation so this little pot will see me through a few more months. It does tend to fade after about six hours wear though. At £9.99 a pop it's pretty darn good for a medium coverage formula that works hard to not dry your skin out. Ideal for those with dry to normal skin.

Overall, I do like this. I will probably repurchase when I eventually run out.
