TRESemmé Keratin Smooth

From years of straightening my hair at school my hair was within an inch of its life. The ends were so bad that my hairdresser had to cut a frighteningly large amount off just to get it healthy again. Thankfully, I have learned from mythroughes and now know that we all need to take care of our hair and give it some sort of special treatment every once in a while just to make sure that it's not going to turn into our worst enemy - a bad hair day. The TRESemmé Keratin Smooth range appealed to me as soon as it was released. I was doubtful it could massively improve the state of my hair but the results definitely gave cause for a blog post.

I have been using the Keratin Restoring Shampoo every other day for the past month and it has reduced the frizz in my hair from all the dead ends. It makes my hair feel soft to the touch and so much more healthy. I will most likely be coming back to this when my hair needs a bit of a boost. It can be picked up for £4.99 at Boots which isn't bad since it's probably going to take me another month to use up the bottle!

I've also been using the Heat Protection Shine Spray whenever I'm going to be using heat on my hear, whether it be blow drying or straightening etc. It's always difficult to tell whether a heat protectant is working or not since the results aren't directly visible. However, after a month of using this product I can safely say it has saved my hair from damage successfully as it's maintained its shine and still feels just as healthy so I am thoroughly content with this product and would consider purchasing again in the future. Available for around £5.50 it's a fair price for a fair product.

For me, the star of the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth line has to be the Keratin Restoring Conditioner. It's a leave-in conditioner which I tend to leave in for a few minutes before rinsing out once or twice a week. It makes my hair feel so soft and silky that I can't stop touching it! As I said I only use this once or twice a week as it is quite deep conditioning for the hair and mine doesn't respond too well to too much of that. The same as the shampoo, this is available for £4.99 which is an excellent price for a product that does everything it should.

Being totally honest, I could live without the shampoo and the heat protection spray from this line. I will use them up but the conditioner will most likely become a staple in my collection for whenever my hair is feeling particularly unloved. However, at the moment there's an offer on at Boots where you can buy two TRESemmé products for £6.00, so now is the opportunity girls.

So for those of you looking to give your hair some life this cold winter, I recommend you try this reasonably priced range (especially the conditioner!). Thanks for reading you beautiful creatures!
