I know I know, it's been well over a week since I last posted. I have had a pretty stressful last couple of weeks. It literally felt like the world was ganging up on me, but I won't bore you with the details as some people have it much worse than I do. Hopefully I can now get back on track and continue with regular posting. Thank you so much to all of you who have stuck with me! To get back into the swing of things I thought I'd give you guys a glimpse of what I've recently bought and what I've been testing out.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
After running totally out of Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution and converting to the L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Solution which I reviewed a few months ago here. When I came to repurchase I noticed the Garnier version and thought to myself, 'why not'? For the same price as the L'Oréal solution, the Garnier product has double the amount, 400ml to be exact. We shall see if this proves worthy.
Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation
I've had my eye on this since it came out. After some careful swatching I picked up the lightest shade, 01 Light Beige. This is a perfect match for my very fair skin. It claims to improve the appearance of skin gradually and create a natural yet flawless finish whilst being gentle on the skin. We shall see Maybelline, we shall see.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot
I get quite shiny in my t-zone as the day goes on and I've been after a translucent powder that makes me appear slightly more matte without it being overly obvious I'm wearing powder. After testing this out briefly I think I have found the one. Stay tuned.
Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm
I have really fallen for the matte lip look, it's perfect for spring! I have heard only good things about these balms and when I swatched them I was very impressed. Armed with three shades, Elusive, Sultry and Showy I will definitely be getting some wear out of these bad boys.
MAC Cremesheen Lipstick - Creme Cup
So I lost my MAC lipstick virginity last week, I gave into the pressure. I picked the shade Creme Cup as it suits me well and I've been after a pink nude I really like for a while now. So far so good, I'm loving this shade!
L'Oréal Lumi Magique Concealer
After searching for a lightweight concealer to brighten my dark circles I was definitely impressed when I tested The L'Oréal LUMI out. It highlights without being too obvious yet still has decent coverage.
Maybelline Dream Touch Lumi Concealer
I have read impressive reviews of this concealer and was curious to see how it would match against the L'Oréal version. It's lightweight and brightening, though the shades are different so I shall be undergoing further testing, do not fear!
